GitHub prompts
GitHub is where code review, issues and releases happen, and clear writing speeds all three. These prompts help you write pull request descriptions, issue templates, release notes and README files, plan branching and review practices, and audit repository settings and workflows. Paste text or a sanitised diff summary into an AI assistant, never secrets or private keys. The prompts do not access your repositories, so review generated content and run your own checks before you merge or publish. Maintainers can use the template prompts to make contributions easier, with clear steps for reporting an issue or proposing a change.
