Audit whether our pull request template improves pull requests. Sample of 30 recent pull requests with title, whether template sections were filled in, linked issue, description of why, test notes, size in lines, review rounds and time to merge: [PR_SAMPLE]. The template text: [TEMPLATE_TEXT].

Calculate the share with a linked issue, test notes and a description of why, plus median size, review rounds and time to merge, with arithmetic and sample size. Compare pull requests that filled the template well with those that did not: do they need fewer review rounds? Treat the numbers as a guide, because with 30 pull requests small differences are not reliable, and do not use them to judge individuals. Look for sections always left empty or filled with placeholders, and sections reviewers say they miss.

Return a table of findings and a revised template of no more than six sections with short prompts, a pull request size rule, an author checklist, and a plan to review the change after a month with the same measures. Mark GitHub feature names [VERIFY].
