Confluence Onboarding Space Accuracy Audit
Test a Confluence onboarding space against a new hire's first week to find missing steps, outdated names and dead ends.
The Open buttons send the prompt text as currently shown below to that site only when you click. Fill in the placeholders first.
[VERIFY] is an editorial flag, not a blank to fill. Wherever the prompt shows [VERIFY], check that item against a reliable source before you use it.
I want to know whether a new hire could actually follow our onboarding pages in Confluence. Role being onboarded: [ROLE]. Start date context: [START_DATE_CONTEXT]. I will paste the text of the onboarding pages: [ONBOARDING_PAGES]. I will also paste the real first-week checklist as the manager sees it: [MANAGER_CHECKLIST]. Walk through the pages as the new hire, day by day, and report: 1) A day-by-day table with the columns Day, What the pages tell the hire to do, What the manager checklist expects, Gap or contradiction. 2) A list of missing items, such as accounts, access requests, introductions or policies, that appear in one source and not the other. 3) Names, tools, links or people that look outdated, with a quote of no more than 12 words each and the reason. 4) The questions a new hire would probably still have after reading everything, ranked by how stuck they would be. 5) A count of tasks with no owner and tasks with no deadline. Do not invent tools or people. If something may be outdated but you cannot be sure, flag it [VERIFY] with a question for the owner. Do not draft policy; point to where a policy is needed. End with the three fixes that would help the next hire most.
