Airtable Content Production Pipeline With Approvals
Track content from idea to publication.
The Open buttons send the prompt text as currently shown below to that site only when you click. Fill in the placeholders first.
Design an Airtable pipeline for content. Content types: [CONTENT_TYPES]. Team roles: [ROLES]. Approval steps: [APPROVALS]. Channels: [CHANNELS]. Create tables for Content, Authors, Channels and Campaigns. Give fields with types: status (idea, brief, draft, review, approved, scheduled, published), due dates, links, review comments, and a checklist for facts, sources, images and accessibility. Include formulas for Days to deadline (deadline minus today), Overdue flag, and On time (published on or before planned date) [VERIFY syntax], with a worked example for three items. Define views with their filters and sorts: calendar by publish date, board by status, my work, and overdue. Set the approval rule: the reviewer must tick the checklist before status can move to approved, and changes requested are recorded in a comments field with a message to the author [VERIFY automation options]. Add a 20-minute weekly production meeting agenda that uses the views, and a monthly report: items published, on-time rate (on time divided by planned) and average days in review. Test with three sample items. Keep statuses to the real stages people use.
