Gmail Account Security and Recovery Settings Review
Check my own account's protections (defensive).
The Open buttons send the prompt text as currently shown below to that site only when you click. Fill in the placeholders first.
[VERIFY] is an editorial flag, not a blank to fill. Wherever the prompt shows [VERIFY], check that item against a reliable source before you use it.
Review the security of my Gmail account. Settings I know (sign-in methods, recovery email and phone, devices, forwarding addresses, connected apps, delegates): [ACCOUNT_SETTINGS]. Whether it is a personal or work account: [ACCOUNT_TYPE]. Present a table with Check, What good looks like, How to check [VERIFY] and Status, covering two-step verification, a current recovery email and phone, unknown devices, forwarding rules or filters I do not recognise, connected apps with broad access, delegates, and weak or reused passwords. Give an order of actions and a quarterly reminder. If I find something suspicious: change the password from the official account page, sign out other sessions, and tell IT if it is a work account. Use only official account pages, never links in emails, to change settings. Do not ask me to share passwords or codes. Put the checks in order of importance, with two-step verification and recovery details first. Keep each check to one line and tell me which ones only an administrator can change on a work account.
