Audit my service promises. The promises on my website, emails and adverts (delivery times, response times, guarantees): [PROMISES]. My actual performance data for the last [PERIOD]: [PERFORMANCE_DATA]. My capacity and staffing: [CAPACITY].

Make a table with Promise, Where stated, Target, Actual (with arithmetic), Gap, and Risk of complaint. Identify promises with no measurement, promises that depend on others (carriers, suppliers), and wording like 'usually' that creates false confidence. Suggest revised wording that is accurate, measures to track, and a small buffer for peak times. Estimate the number of customers affected by each gap from the data provided. Add a plan for communicating delays early and a template message.

Also rank the promises by how often customers mention them in complaints, mark which ones should be changed first, and write a short public statement of what customers can expect, using only commitments that the data shows I can keep at least nine times in ten. Use only my data and do not overstate.

This is not legal advice. Invent no law, deadline or odds. Use [JURISDICTION] and [RELEVANT_LAW_OR_POLICY_IF_KNOWN] as given. Flag where I need expert help. Promise no result.

Promise | Where | Target | Actual | Gap
'Replies within 24 hours' | website | 24 h | median 31 h | 7 h
'Dispatch same day' | checkout | same day | 82 of 100 orders (82 percent) | 18 percent
'Free returns' | footer | always | yes | none
Suggested wording: 'We reply within one working day.' Add a delay notice template.
Fix options: change the promise to match practice (reply within one working day), or add staff hours on Mondays when the median is 40 hours. Publish the new promise only after four weeks of measured replies meet it at least 90 percent of the time.
