Google Docs Grant Application Draft Structure From Notes
Organise a funding application section by section.
The Open buttons send the prompt text as currently shown below to that site only when you click. Fill in the placeholders first.
[VERIFY] [ADD EVIDENCE] is an editorial flag, not a blank to fill. Wherever the prompt shows [VERIFY], check that item against a reliable source before you use it.
Draft a grant application structure in Google Docs. Funder and guidance: [FUNDER_GUIDANCE]. Our organisation and project: [ORGANISATION_AND_PROJECT]. Evidence and numbers I can supply: [EVIDENCE]. Budget summary: [BUDGET]. Submission deadline: [DEADLINE]. Create headings that mirror the funder's criteria (use heading styles so reviewers can navigate the outline [VERIFY]) and a criteria map table with Funder criterion, Our response section, Evidence, Word limit and Owner. Give each section a word budget adding up to the limit, and a draft paragraph using only my facts, with [ADD EVIDENCE] where missing. Add a table of outcomes with measures and how success will be measured, and a timeline. Do not invent statistics or partners; cite numbers with sources and dates, describe beneficiaries respectfully, and avoid claims that cannot be shown. Check the budget: costs add up to the total requested, with any match funding stated. Count deadlines back: budget agreed three weeks before, full draft two weeks before, reviewers one week before, final checks two days before. Add a reviewer feedback process using comments and suggestions, and a final checklist of eligibility, attachments, signatures and submission method, with a rule to submit early in case of technical problems.
