Write a project brief. Project: [PROJECT]. Goal and background: [GOAL]. Scope and exclusions: [SCOPE]. Team and roles: [TEAM]. Dates: [DATES]. Budget: [BUDGET].

Use these headings so the outline works [VERIFY how to apply heading styles]: Summary, Problem and goal, Scope, Out of scope, Approach, Timeline, Roles, Risks, Budget, Open questions, Decisions, Links. Put key facts (owner, dates, status) in a small table at the top, write sections in short paragraphs or bullets, and mark all facts not given [TO CONFIRM]. Do not invent figures. Check that dates in the timeline match the summary table and list any inconsistencies in what I gave. Avoid internal abbreviations unless I defined them.

Add the questions a reader will ask first and where the answer sits, the sections most likely to cause disagreement and how to surface the issues early, a decisions log table at the bottom (date, decision, owner), and a one-paragraph version for an email or chat of under 60 words.
