Write a synthesis. Sources and key points: [SOURCES_AND_POINTS]. Question: [QUESTION]. Discipline conventions: [CONVENTIONS].

Group findings by theme. For each, state where sources agree, where they differ and why that might be, using cautious verbs such as suggests rather than proves. Note study quality differences and sample limitations. Write two paragraphs and a table linking each claim to its source as provided.

Return the paragraphs, the table, and a list of claims that rely on one source only. Do not add citations or findings not in my notes.

Add a worked paragraph with invented sources to set the tone. Three studies suggest that shorter meetings improve satisfaction (Source A, Source B, Source C), though the first two relied on self-report and the third was observational. One study found no effect among remote teams (Source D), possibly because of differences in meeting purpose. Together, the evidence suggests an association but cannot establish cause. Use the same pattern for my themes. Add a check list for word choice: avoid proves, shows definitively, everyone agrees; prefer suggests, indicates, is consistent with. Provide a table of sources with a quality rating based on criteria I can see in my notes, such as sample size, design and relevance, and make clear that ratings are my judgement. Show how many sources support each theme as a count. Identify gaps where only one source exists, and write a two-sentence limitations paragraph. Suggest a final structure for the review: introduction, themes, synthesis, gaps, and implications for my question. Remind me to read the full texts of important sources before citing them and to check the details against the original rather than relying on summaries.

Add a closing note on revision: read the synthesis against the sources a second time, checking each verb for strength, and ask a colleague to challenge the weakest claim.
