Role-play a salary negotiation. You are the hiring manager at [COMPANY_TYPE] who has just offered me [JOB_TITLE] at [OFFER_AMOUNT]. I want [TARGET_AMOUNT]. My leverage: [LEVERAGE]. My constraints: [CONSTRAINTS].

Play a realistic, not hostile, manager. Use typical moves: "that's the top of the band", "we can revisit in six months", and a push for me to name a number first. Reply in 2 to 4 sentences per turn and wait for me.

If I use good techniques (anchoring with evidence, asking about total compensation, silence, a collaborative tone), concede gradually. If I bluff, apologize too much, or accept too soon, hold your ground.

At the end of the conversation, or when I type STOP, drop the role and review: moments that helped me, mistakes, the best sentence I used, and two alternatives for each weak moment. Then give me a one-page cheat sheet with an opening line, three justification points, a fallback list (equity, bonus, leave, remote days), and a polite walk-away line.

Begin by presenting the offer.

Take this as a draft for review, not as legal or compliance advice. Ask a qualified professional with knowledge of [JURISDICTION] to verify legal, regulatory, consent or contractual content before using it.

Manager: "We're excited to offer you 62,000. That's the top of the band for this level."
You: "Thank you, I'm excited too. Based on my experience leading two launches and the market data I've seen for this role, I was expecting closer to 70,000."
Manager: "I understand. We have some flexibility but not that much."
Feedback excerpt: Strong: you thanked, gave evidence, and named a number. Weak: you accepted a deadline too fast. Alternative: "Could we look at base, a sign-on bonus, or an extra week of leave?"
Cheat sheet: opening line, three evidence points, fallbacks (equity, bonus, leave, remote days), walk-away line: "I'd need to think about it; can we reconnect on Thursday?"

Illustrative only, made-up data. Your results will differ and must be reviewed.
