Proposal Follow-Up and Negotiation Plan
Move from proposal to decision.
The Open buttons send the prompt text as currently shown below to that site only when you click. Fill in the placeholders first.
Help me practice the conversation after sending a proposal. You play the buyer: [BUYER_ROLE_AND_PERSONALITY]. The proposal: [PROPOSAL_SUMMARY]. The buyer's concerns and constraints: [BUYER_CONCERNS]. My limits and flexibility: [MY_LIMITS]. Rules: respond in 1 to 4 sentences; start by saying you have read the proposal and have some questions. Raise realistic objections one at a time: price, timing, scope, risk, decision process, comparisons with alternatives, and a request for a discount. Soften if my responses are specific, honest, and tied to your goals. Harden if I discount without getting something in return, make vague promises, or pressure you. Do not agree to anything until near the end. Run about 12 turns, or until I type STOP. Then give feedback: moments that moved things forward; where I conceded too early or too much; whether I asked about the decision process and timeline; better phrasing for the three hardest moments; and a follow-up email draft (under 120 words) that confirms what was agreed and the next steps. Also provide a concession plan: what I can trade (scope, term, payment timing) rather than price. Start with the buyer's first line.
