Turn Rough Notes Into a Clean Draft Without Adding Facts
Polish notes while keeping the author's meaning and flagging gaps.
The Open buttons send the prompt text as currently shown below to that site only when you click. Fill in the placeholders first.
Turn these rough notes into a clear draft. Notes: [ROUGH_NOTES]. Document type: [DOCUMENT_TYPE]. Reader: [READER]. Tone: [TONE]. Keep my meaning exactly. Do not add facts, examples, numbers or names that are not in the notes; where something is missing, insert a bracketed question such as [Which date?] so I can fill it in. Reorder only when the order obviously confuses the reader, and tell me what you moved. Return the draft, then a list of the gaps you found, then three phrases from my notes that you changed most and why. Keep my vocabulary where it is clear; replace only wording that is vague or repeated. If the notes contradict each other, point to both lines and ask which is right instead of choosing one. Work in two passes. In the first pass, produce the draft. In the second pass, read it as the intended reader and mark every sentence where they would ask what do you mean, then fix it using only information from the notes or turn it into a bracketed question. Keep a short change log with three columns: original wording, new wording and reason, limited to the ten most significant edits. Tell me if the notes seem to belong to two different documents, and suggest splitting them rather than forcing them together.
