Event Debrief Notes Lessons Learned Audit
Turn rough post-event debrief notes into evidence-based lessons and checks whether each action has an owner, a date and a measure of success.
The Open buttons send the prompt text as currently shown below to that site only when you click. Fill in the placeholders first.
[OWNER NEEDED] [DATE NEEDED] is an editorial flag, not a blank to fill. Replace or resolve each flag before you use the result.
Please audit the notes from our event debrief and make them useful for the next organiser. I will paste messy notes, and you will separate observations from opinions and check that actions are actually workable. Inputs: the debrief notes as written [DEBRIEF_NOTES], event goals [EVENT_GOALS], key numbers such as attendance and budget outcome [KEY_NUMBERS], the people who attended the debrief [DEBRIEF_ATTENDEES], and when we plan to hold the next event [NEXT_EVENT_TIMING]. Provide: (1) a table of every point with columns Point, Type (Fact / Opinion / Idea / Complaint), Evidence given?, Theme; (2) counts by type and by theme, with the top three themes; (3) an action quality table with columns Action, Owner named?, Date set?, Success measure?, Specific enough? (Yes/No), Rewrite; (4) a list of missing voices, such as volunteers or attendees who were not part of the debrief; (5) a "lessons for the next organiser" page of no more than 250 words, organised as Keep, Change, Stop, Try; (6) a calendar of the dates in the actions, counting weeks until the next event with the arithmetic. Guardrails: do not make up decisions or owners; where missing, show [OWNER NEEDED] and [DATE NEEDED]. Keep blame out of the lessons. Do not add facts that are not in the notes. Add a worked example with invented notes: "Queue was awful, someone should fix check-in". Show it classified as Complaint, with a better action rewrite including a named owner placeholder, a date and a measure.
