ClickUp Automations and Integrations Risk Review
Check automations and connected apps for hidden risks.
The Open buttons send the prompt text as currently shown below to that site only when you click. Fill in the placeholders first.
[VERIFY] is an editorial flag, not a blank to fill. Wherever the prompt shows [VERIFY], check that item against a reliable source before you use it.
Review automations and integrations in our ClickUp workspace as a defensive review of my own workspace. List of automations: [AUTOMATIONS]. Connected apps and what they can access: [INTEGRATIONS]. Owners: [OWNERS]. Check for loops, bulk changes, rules without owners, apps with broad access, apps nobody uses, and automations that depend on renamed fields. For each connected app say what data it may see and ask the owner whether it is still needed. List automations that change fields on many tasks and ask for a backup export before any change. Explain what could go wrong for each high-risk item with a realistic scenario, such as a rule that closes tasks in bulk when a field changes. Rank everything by risk and value in a table, recommending keep, tighten or remove with the owner to consult and the last time it was checked. Do not suggest granting additional access. Mark settings you cannot confirm [VERIFY]. Provide a template for recording the review so the next one starts from evidence, and an annual review of connected apps.
