Internal Announcement Email Clarity and Action Audit

Checklist

Check a company or team announcement email for a clear point, audience, deadline, owner and next step before it goes to everyone.

The Open buttons send the prompt text as currently shown below to that site only when you click. Fill in the placeholders first.

[VERIFY] is an editorial flag, not a blank to fill. Wherever the prompt shows [VERIFY], check that item against a reliable source before you use it.

Please review an internal email before I send it to [AUDIENCE]. Here is the draft: [DRAFT_EMAIL]. The purpose is [PURPOSE], and what I want people to do afterwards is [DESIRED_ACTION]. The sensitive aspects, such as people or money affected, are [SENSITIVITIES].

Review it and return: 1) A five-second test: in one sentence, what would a busy reader think this email says? Compare it with my purpose. 2) A checklist table with the columns Question (Is the main point in the first two lines? Who is affected and who is not? What must they do? By when? Who owns questions? What changes and what stays the same?), Answer (yes, partly, no), and Fix. 3) Counts: word total, number of paragraphs, number of separate asks, and any jargon or acronyms with a plain replacement. 4) Tone risks, such as language that might alarm, sound dismissive or leave people guessing. 5) A tightened rewrite in under [WORD_LIMIT] words, using only the facts in my draft, with placeholders where facts are missing.

Rules: do not invent dates, names or decisions. Where the email touches employment, contracts, pay or legal matters, say that wording should be checked by the right person (HR or legal) and mark it [VERIFY]. Suggest a better subject line and two alternatives.
