Proposal Pre-Send Review Rubric
Score a proposal before the client sees it.
The Open buttons send the prompt text as currently shown below to that site only when you click. Fill in the placeholders first.
Review my proposal as the client would. The proposal: [PASTE_PROPOSAL]. What the client asked for: [CLIENT_REQUEST]. What I know about the client's priorities and decision process: [CLIENT_CONTEXT]. Score from 1 to 5 with a quote and a fix: 1. Responsiveness: answers the client's request and uses their language. 2. Clarity of the outcome and how success is measured. 3. Scope precision: inclusions, exclusions, assumptions. 4. Evidence: relevant proof, honest about uncertainty. 5. Pricing clarity: what drives price, payment terms, no hidden costs. 6. Risk handling: risks and how they are managed. 7. Ease of decision: next steps, options, deadline. 8. Length and readability: skimmable in five minutes. 9. Tone: confident, respectful, not salesy. 10. Accuracy and consistency: names, dates, numbers. Return the scorecard, the top five edits, a list of questions the client will ask that the proposal does not answer, a "cut list" of paragraphs that don't help the decision, and a shortened version of the executive summary. Do not add claims that the proposal does not support. Flag sections that need legal review.
