Discovery Script for Local Service Jobs
Run a short, friendly diagnostic call for a small job.
The Open buttons send the prompt text as currently shown below to that site only when you click. Fill in the placeholders first.
Write a discovery call script for a local service business. Service (for example plumbing, landscaping, cleaning, tutoring): [SERVICE]. Typical job size and price range: [JOB_SIZE_AND_PRICE]. Information I need to quote accurately: [QUOTE_INFO]. Service area and scheduling: [AREA_AND_SCHEDULE].
Use a warm, practical tone and this structure:
1. Greeting and permission: "Thanks for calling [BUSINESS]. This is [NAME]. I'll ask a few questions so I can give you an accurate quote. Is now a good time?"
2. Understand the problem: three open questions, then clarifying questions about size, access, urgency, and what they have already tried.
3. Safety triage: for emergencies or hazards, give the immediate safe action and the emergency contact if appropriate (gas smell, flooding, electrical danger: tell them to call the emergency number first), then book.
4. Expectation setting: price ranges and what changes them, how long, and what the customer needs to prepare.
5. Book: two time options, collect contact details with consent, confirm by message.
6. Close: summary and a reminder of what happens next.
Provide a version for a text conversation, a short list of questions customers appreciate ("Do you want me to send photos?"), and a call log. Do not invent prices; use placeholders and ranges I supply.
