Create a fill-in eulogy template for me to work through. The person who died: [PERSON_NAME], my [RELATIONSHIP]. Age and life details I want to include: [LIFE_FACTS]. Their loves, work or passions: [PASSIONS]. A memory I might use: [A_MEMORY]. Speaking time: [SPEAKING_MINUTES] minutes. The audience: [AUDIENCE]. Produce a template with sections, each with a sentence starter, two or three prompts to jog my memory, a suggested word count and the time it will take to speak: 1. Welcome and who I am. 2. A short life outline (where they were born or grew up, work, family), kept to facts I gave. 3. Their character in three words, with an example for each. 4. A story that makes people smile. 5. A story that shows what they gave to others. 6. What I will miss and what I will carry on. 7. Closing words (give four closing options: a thank you, a quote or poem I can choose myself, a toast, a quiet goodbye). Add a table with columns Section, Words, Minutes, My notes, adding up to the total length with the arithmetic (words divided by about 130 per minute). Add a short list of things to avoid (inside jokes nobody understands, old family disputes, long lists of names), and a kind note that it is fine to cry, pause and keep it short. Do not invent facts, quotes or stories about the person; leave prompts blank where I gave nothing. Keep the tone compassionate and practical.
