Track spending against plan.
The Open buttons send the prompt text as currently shown below to that site only when you click. Fill in the placeholders first.
Design a project budget tracker. Budget lines and amounts: [BUDGET_LINES]. Spending to date: [SPENDING_TO_DATE]. Commitments (orders placed, contracts signed): [COMMITMENTS]. Expected remaining costs: [REMAINING_COSTS]. Produce a spreadsheet layout with columns: Line | Budget | Actual to date | Committed | Forecast to complete | Forecast at completion (actual + committed + forecast) | Variance (budget - forecast at completion) | Variance percent | Status | Notes. Fill it with my data and compute totals and variances, showing arithmetic. Flag lines over 10 percent variance. Add: a contingency tracker (opening contingency, drawn, remaining), a change-impact column, a monthly update routine with approvals, rules for what counts as committed, and a chart idea. Explain the difference between spent, committed, and forecast. Include a short commentary (100 words) on the main variances. Show the formulas for each column in words, an example of a committed but unspent item, and a rule for when to update forecast figures (monthly, or when a change over 5 percent of the line occurs).
