Monday.com Dashboard Design for Weekly Management Review
Choose widgets and metrics for a management dashboard.
The Open buttons send the prompt text as currently shown below to that site only when you click. Fill in the placeholders first.
[VERIFY] is an editorial flag, not a blank to fill. Wherever the prompt shows [VERIFY], check that item against a reliable source before you use it.
Design a dashboard for monday.com for the weekly management review of [TEAM_OR_FUNCTION]. Questions the manager needs answered: [MANAGER_QUESTIONS]. Boards and key columns that feed it: [BOARDS_AND_COLUMNS]. Audience size and meeting length: [AUDIENCE_AND_LENGTH]. List up to eight widgets in reading order, the most important top left. For each give the title, the question it answers, the board and columns it reads, the type (battery, chart, table, numbers, timeline), the filter, a one-sentence definition of any metric that could be read two ways (such as on time), and what action a reader should take if it looks bad. Drop any widget nobody will act on, and check that nothing needs data that is only entered monthly. Example widgets (invented): items due this week by owner (table); overdue items count (number); workload by person (chart). Say which questions the current column structure cannot answer and what to add. Provide a 10-minute meeting script that walks the dashboard, including what the manager asks when a widget turns red. Mark widgets whose availability you are unsure of [VERIFY].
