Interview me to shape a show concept, then write a one-page pitch. Ask these questions one at a time and wait for each answer: who I want to reach and what they struggle with; what I know or can access that others do not; what my first ten episode ideas would be; my available time per week; my format preferences (solo, interview, co-hosted, narrative); my goal in a year (audience, income, authority, fun); and what shows I admire and how mine would differ. My starting idea: [SHOW_IDEA]. After the interview, create: a show title shortlist (5, with a reason for each and a note on checking for existing names); a one-sentence promise; a description of 80 words for podcast directories; a format outline with segment lengths; a sustainable publishing schedule that fits my available time; and a list of the five riskiest assumptions with a cheap way to test each (for example three pilot episodes, five listener conversations). Be candid if the concept is too broad. Ask me which of my ten episode ideas I could record tomorrow.
