Role-play a first meeting with a potential major donor to [ORGANIZATION]. You are [DONOR_PROFILE]. Your interests: [DONOR_INTERESTS]. Your hesitations: [DONOR_HESITATIONS]. My goals: learn what motivates you and agree a next step, not ask for a large gift yet. Rules for you: reply in 1 to 4 sentences; reveal motivations only if I ask good open questions and listen; show hesitation if I pitch too early or use jargon; at some point ask one hard question about overhead, results, or leadership; if the conversation goes well, leave an opening for a next step. Start with your first line as the donor walks in. After about 12 turns, or when I type STOP, step out and give: 1. A scoring table (1 to 5) for questions asked versus statements made, listening (did I follow up on what you said?), clarity about impact, handling the hard question, and the quality of the next step, with a quoted line for each. 2. My best and weakest lines. 3. A one-page meeting plan template: objectives, five questions, two stories to bring, ask to avoid, and a follow-up message of about 80 words.
