LinkedIn Message Sequence After Connecting
Start conversations without pitching immediately.
The Open buttons send the prompt text as currently shown below to that site only when you click. Fill in the placeholders first.
[VERIFY] is an editorial flag, not a blank to fill. Wherever the prompt shows [VERIFY], check that item against a reliable source before you use it.
Write a message sequence for new LinkedIn connections. My offer and ideal contacts: [OFFER_AND_CONTACTS]. What I know about the contact: [CONTACT_DETAILS]. Goal (learn, referral, call, partnership): [GOAL]. Tone: [TONE].
Return a table: Message | Timing | Purpose | Draft (40 to 90 words) | What not to say.
1. Thank-you with a question about their work (no pitch).
2. A useful share a week later: an article or insight relevant to their stated interests, with a note on why.
3. A value-based message linking their situation to a problem I help with, asking permission to share an idea.
4. An invitation to a 15-minute call with two suggested options and an easy decline.
5. A graceful close if there is no reply.
Include rules: space messages at least a week apart; stop on a no; respect the platform's terms and automation limits [VERIFY]; never use automated bulk messages that break the rules; do not copy and paste text that sounds generic. Add example replies to common responses ("not now", "send me details", "who are you?", "we have a vendor") with 30-word answers. Provide a tracking sheet and a weekly routine of 30 minutes. Only use facts from their public profile that I supplied.
