Write LinkedIn connection requests. My role and goals: [MY_ROLE_AND_GOALS]. The recipient (role, company, what I know from their public profile): [RECIPIENT_DETAILS]. Reason for connecting (shared interest, event, mutual contact, topic): [REASON]. Character limit (check the current limit): [CHARACTER_LIMIT].

Study these examples.
Weak: "I'd like to add you to my professional network."
Better: "Hi Dan, your comments on warehouse automation at the Leeds event were useful. I work on similar problems at Northway. Would be glad to connect."
Better (mutual contact): "Hi Priya, Sam Okafor suggested I reach out; we're both interested in supply chain analytics. I'd love to follow your work."

Return 10 notes in different situations: after an event, after reading their article, shared alumni, mutual contact, same industry group, a recruiter, a potential customer (no pitch in the first note), a potential mentor, an expert I want to learn from, and a past colleague. Each under 250 characters, with a one-line reason it works and a note on what to avoid. Add rules: do not pitch in the invitation, be truthful about the connection, and keep the profile consistent with the note. Add a polite follow-up after acceptance (not a sales pitch), and a policy for declined or ignored requests. Don't invent shared events or contacts.
