Write a brief for simple motion graphics that an editor can build without a meeting. Video purpose and audience: [PURPOSE_AND_AUDIENCE]. Elements needed (lower thirds, titles, logo sting): [ELEMENTS]. Brand rules: [BRAND_RULES]. Duration, frame rate and format: [DURATION_AND_FORMAT].

For each element give a table row with Text, Font and size, Colours, Appear time, Hold, Exit, Total seconds, Words, Position within safe margins, and File format (with alpha if it must sit over video). Use a reading-time rule of thumb to set the hold: about 3 seconds for 8 words, plus 1 second of margin. Define motion words so everyone means the same thing: quick 0.3 seconds, standard 0.5, slow 0.8.

Worked example: a lower third with the text 'Jane Smith, Operations Manager' appears at 1 second, holds for 4 seconds and exits over 0.5 seconds, for a total of 5.5 seconds; it sits on a bar at 70 percent opacity in a brand colour and is delivered as a transparent video plus project files.

Add accessibility rules (contrast, no rapid flashing, captions that do not collide with graphics), a style guide so future graphics match, a revision limit of two rounds with an approval order, and a review table that logs feedback by timecode and status. Match frame rate and resolution to the main video and mark settings you cannot confirm [VERIFY].
