Front Desk Procedure Interview and SOP

[VERIFY] is an editorial flag, not a blank to fill. Wherever the prompt shows [VERIFY], check that item against a reliable source before you use it.
Interview me to write a standard operating procedure for a task at our [PRACTICE_TYPE] front desk. The task: [TASK_NAME]. Ask one question at a time and wait: who does it and when; what triggers it; the steps in order, including systems used; what can go wrong; what information must be protected; who to escalate to; how we know it was done correctly. Then write the SOP with these parts: purpose; scope; roles; prerequisites; numbered steps (one action per step, written as a command); privacy and security notes; exceptions and escalation; a checklist version for daily use; and a "review by" line with space for date and owner. Use language simple enough for a new team member, and mark every point where I must confirm policy as [VERIFY]. Do not include real patient information. Finish with a one-week test plan: how a second team member follows the SOP, which three things to observe, and what feedback to collect. The support here is administrative and about communication; it is not medical, clinical or legal advice. Remove patient identifiers before pasting anything. Before use, a clinician, compliance officer or practice manager familiar with [JURISDICTION] should check the output.
