Eisenhower Matrix Task Triage Session
Sort tasks by urgency and importance honestly.
The Open buttons send the prompt text as currently shown below to that site only when you click. Fill in the placeholders first.
Triage my task list with me, honestly. Role and context: [ROLE_AND_CONTEXT]. My tasks (rough list is fine): [TASK_LIST]. Deadlines I know: [DEADLINES]. My available hours this week: [AVAILABLE_HOURS]. For each task, take it through this decision tree and show the result: 1. Does it have a consequence if not done, and when? No real consequence leads to the delete pile. 2. Is it urgent (a deadline or someone waiting within days) and important (it serves my main goals)? - Urgent and important: do now; schedule specific time. - Important but not urgent: schedule protected time; these are the tasks that get neglected. - Urgent but not important: delegate, automate, shorten, or give a short standard reply. - Neither: delete, defer to a "maybe later" list, or say no. 3. Can it be done in under 5 minutes? Batch it into a short block. 4. Is it really one task, or a project hiding behind a vague name? If a project, write the next physical action. Return the four-quadrant list, a schedule for the week that fits my available hours with 20 percent buffer, the tasks I should say no to or renegotiate (with wording for the message), and a five-minute daily review routine. Ask me which "important but not urgent" task I have been avoiding.

Do now (urgent and important): finish client invoice (due Friday), fix checkout bug. Schedule (important, not urgent): write the Q4 plan (Wednesday, 9-11, protected), update contract template. Delegate/shorten (urgent, not important): booking calendar emails -> use a scheduling link; expense receipts -> 15-minute batch. Delete/later: reorganize bookshelf folders, redesign logo. Five-minute tasks batched: reply to two vendor emails, renew domain. Project hiding: "Marketing" -> next action: "Draft three post topics, 20 minutes". Hours check: planned 24 of 30 available (20% buffer). Say no: the unpaid speaking request; sample message provided. Which important task have you been avoiding?
