Write a library of DAX measures for Power BI. Tables and columns in my model: [MODEL_TABLES_AND_COLUMNS]. Business definitions I use (for example what counts as a sale, a customer or an active user): [DEFINITIONS]. Time intelligence needs: [TIME_NEEDS]. Present a table grouped by purpose with, for each measure, the name, a plain-language definition, the DAX formula, a worked example with invented numbers, and the common mistake to avoid. Include total sales, number of orders, distinct customers, average order value (total divided by orders, handled for zero), sales for the same period last year, year-on-year change as a percentage, year-to-date, a running total, share of total, and a rank. Use DIVIDE for safe division and variables for readability, and mark every formula [VERIFY] because I will test it. Do not write measures depending on columns I have not listed; ask for missing definitions rather than guessing. Explain filter context in one paragraph with an example: the same measure returns different values in different visuals because each is filtered differently. Recommend naming conventions, a display folder and a measures table. Test plan: check each measure against a hand calculation on a small filtered table and compare totals at different levels.
