For each subplot define its question, characters, how it echoes or contrasts the main theme, key beats, and how it intersects with the main plot. Create a chapter grid showing where each thread appears and a rule to avoid long gaps. Mark where subplots collide in act two and resolve before or during the climax. Identify any subplot that doesn't earn its place and suggest cutting or merging it. Provide a pacing check: where a subplot gives relief and where it drains tension. Return the grid as a table.

Add a thematic grid showing which theme each thread comments on, and a short scene idea for each place where two threads meet. Include a check for subplots resolved too early and a rule that each subplot must change the main character's decision at least once, or else be cut or merged.
