Check my manuscript for continuity. Character facts, timeline, and settings: [STYLE_SHEET_NOTES]. Text excerpts or chapter summaries: [EXCERPTS_OR_SUMMARIES]. List inconsistencies in a table: Item | Version A with location | Version B with location | Suggested fix. Check names and spellings, ages and dates, physical descriptions, distances and travel times, objects and who holds them, weather and time of day, and rules of the world. Then produce a style sheet template with sections for each category and fill it from my input. Provide a method for tracking while revising, such as a running list updated at the end of each chapter. Add a timeline table template with columns for date or day, event, location, characters present, and source chapter, and a family tree outline for generational stories. Provide a short list of the ten facts that most commonly drift, and an end-of-chapter habit to log new facts in one minute. Also list any facts I did not supply that you would need to complete the check, and flag the chapters most likely to hide errors, such as the ones written last.
