Help me explain tricky points on my resume without oversharing. The situation (layoff, short stay, contract end, company closure, health or family reasons I may not share, termination): [SITUATION]. Dates and roles: [DATES_AND_ROLES]. What I want to be known for in this period: [WHAT_I_ACHIEVED]. The role I am applying for: [TARGET_ROLE].

Follow this style:
Layoff: "Position eliminated in a company-wide restructuring (400 roles)."
Short stay: "Left after 5 months when the role changed from analytics to administration; delivered the Q2 dashboard before departing."
Contract: "Contract role; completed the 6-month project on schedule."

Write: (1) one-line resume or application notes for my case in three tones; (2) a spoken answer of 30 seconds for an interview using the structure facts, what I learned, what I want now; (3) a longer version of 60 seconds if asked to explain; (4) wording to avoid (blaming, emotional language, speculation); (5) what to say about references from that employer; and (6) how to handle a direct question about being let go honestly. Do not suggest false statements, and do not hide dates that materially matter. Mention that rules about what employers may ask differ by place; check [JURISDICTION].
