Write and compare opening paragraphs for my cover letter. Role and company: [ROLE_AND_COMPANY]. One thing I admire about the company (specific): [COMPANY_DETAIL]. My strongest relevant achievement: [ACHIEVEMENT]. My natural tone: [TONE].

Avoid these overused openings: "I am writing to apply for", "I am excited to", "I believe I would be a great fit", "Dear Sir or Madam".

Create eight opening paragraphs (each 2 to 3 sentences), one per approach: (1) a result-first opening, (2) a short story from my work, (3) a specific observation about the company, (4) a shared problem I can solve, (5) a referral or connection, (6) a question that leads into my experience, (7) a plain direct statement of the role and my fit, (8) a human, understated opening.

For each, add a rating of how well it suits a conservative, a creative, and a startup employer, and flag any risk (too casual, too long, claims I must support). Then recommend one and show how the second paragraph should continue from it. Use only facts I gave and mark gaps as [ADD DETAIL]. Keep the whole letter outline under 280 words.
