Sticky Navigation, Mobile Bottom Bars and Overlays Review
Evaluate persistent UI elements that consume screen space.
The Open buttons send the prompt text as currently shown below to that site only when you click. Fill in the placeholders first.
Review persistent interface elements on my site (sticky header, bottom bar, floating buttons, cookie banner, chat bubble, promo bar). Site and main user tasks: [SITE_AND_TASKS]. List of persistent elements with their sizes and behavior on desktop and mobile: [PERSISTENT_ELEMENTS]. Typical phone screen height I should design for: [SCREEN_HEIGHT]. Calculate first: the total height in pixels taken by all persistent elements at the same time on a phone, as a share of the screen. Show the arithmetic. Then score each element from 1 to 5 on: 1. Value to the main task (does it help right now?). 2. Space cost (does it leave enough room to read?). 3. Obstruction (does it cover content, anchor targets, form fields, or the keyboard area?). 4. Timing (appears at a sensible moment, can be dismissed, stays dismissed). 5. Accessibility (focus order, keyboard access, target size, does not trap focus, zoom behavior, sticky elements covering focused items). 6. Consistency across pages and orientations. Give a table with scores, a stacking-order recommendation (what wins when elements compete), a rule that no more than [MAX_STICKY_ELEMENTS] sticky elements show at once, and removal candidates. Provide a test checklist for real devices in portrait and landscape.
