Pivot Table and Summary Sheet Integrity Check
Check summaries against raw data.

Audit summaries. Raw data description and the pivot or summary formulas: [PIVOT_DETAILS]. Check that ranges include all rows, new rows will be captured, filters are cleared or documented, blank and duplicate rows are handled, and totals reconcile with the raw data. Plan three reconciliation checks. Return a table and a method to make summaries robust, such as using table references. Add a worked check: raw data has 1,200 rows but the pivot range ends at row 1,000, missing 200 rows; totals differ by 16.7 percent. Convert the data to a table so ranges expand. Reconciliation checks: total rows, sum of amounts, distinct customer count compared with the raw sheet. Add a refresh step in the checklist. Add a short routine: refresh all, compare grand totals with the raw data sum, check filters are cleared, and keep a dated copy of each month's summary. Record the checks on a small sheet with the person and date, so errors can be traced.
