Re-tag a sample of ten comments yourself and compare with the reported tags, giving the agreement rate as agreements divided by comments checked. Check whether themes overlap, whether any large group of comments sits in an other category, whether quotes are verbatim and whether minority views are visible. Look for themes that exist in the comments but are missing from the report. Return a table of discrepancies, a corrected theme list with counts, and recommendations for a tagging guide so two people would tag the same way. Add a worked agreement calculation: ten comments re-tagged; I agree with the report on 7, so agreement is 70 percent. Disagreements are about two comments tagged price that are really about unclear invoices, and one tagged other that belongs to delivery. A theme reported with a count of 24 may be 19 once overlaps are removed. Provide a corrected theme table and a tagging guide with definitions and examples. Add a closing step: keep an audit trail linking each theme to the comments that support it, so a reader can check the work.
