Audit our Slack channels. A list of channels with purpose, members, last message date, and messages in the last 30 days: [CHANNEL_DATA]. Naming conventions now: [CURRENT_NAMING]. Our teams and projects: [TEAMS_AND_PROJECTS].

Classify each channel as active, quiet (under 5 messages a month), or dormant (nothing for 90 days), with counts and percentages and the arithmetic. Identify channels with overlapping purposes, channels with one or two members, private channels that could be public, and names that do not follow a pattern. Make a table with Channel, Status, Issue, and Recommendation (keep, merge into, rename, archive). Propose a naming scheme (prefixes by type), rules for creating a channel, a quarterly clean-up with a notice period, and a message announcing archiving. Include a note on retaining history and on private channels containing sensitive information.

Mark Slack settings and retention rules [VERIFY].

Add a worked status count: 120 channels, 46 active (38 percent), 31 quiet (26), 43 dormant (36), and a plan to archive the dormant ones after a 14-day notice. Include a naming scheme such as team-, proj-, help- and a sample message announcing the change.
