Slack Workflow and Automation Reliability Audit
Check forms and automations for failures and silent errors.
The Open buttons send the prompt text as currently shown below to that site only when you click. Fill in the placeholders first.
[VERIFY] is an editorial flag, not a blank to fill. Wherever the prompt shows [VERIFY], check that item against a reliable source before you use it.
Review our Slack workflows and automations. List with purpose, trigger, steps, owner, last edited and any known failures: [WORKFLOW_LIST]. Connected tools: [CONNECTED_TOOLS]. Check for workflows that depend on one person's account, steps that post to channels that have been archived or renamed, forms with required fields nobody uses, duplicated workflows, workflows with no failure notice, and ones that handle personal data. Write each in plain language and test the logic against a normal case and an unusual one such as an empty field. Say what you cannot test from the descriptions. Rate each by risk and value. Return a table recommending keep, fix, merge or remove for each (ask users before removing any), a testing and ownership routine including a monthly test submission, and a template recording owner, purpose and last test date. Mark options whose names you are unsure of [VERIFY]. Rank the workflows by how much would break if each failed, and test the riskiest first. Ask me for the missing details rather than guessing, and keep the monthly test to ten minutes.
