Audit a business document for readability. Text or outline: [DOCUMENT_TEXT]. Audience and what they need to do after reading: [AUDIENCE_AND_ACTION].

Check whether the first paragraph states the purpose and the action needed, heading clarity, paragraph and sentence length, passive voice, jargon, repeated points, and whether numbers and dates are easy to find. Show the ten sentences you sampled with their word counts, the average and the longest, and a suggested target for my audience; readability scores are rough guides and can mislead for technical text. Suggest a rewrite of the longest sentence.

Return a scorecard from 1 to 5 for purpose, structure, clarity, brevity and action with a quoted example for each, a revised opening paragraph, and a revised heading list. Say what you could not judge, such as layout, avoid inventing facts, and stay faithful to the original meaning. Keep the scorecard honest about the evidence by quoting the exact line behind each score, and say whether the document is short enough that the sample of ten sentences is its whole text. Put the single most useful change first.
