Messaging Clarity and Differentiation Audit
Test whether messaging is distinct and clear.
The Open buttons send the prompt text as currently shown below to that site only when you click. Fill in the placeholders first.
Score my messaging as a skeptical buyer would. Business and audience: [BUSINESS_AND_AUDIENCE]. Home page text, product descriptions, and any tagline: [PASTE_MESSAGING]. Two or three competitors' messaging: [COMPETITOR_MESSAGING]. Run these tests and score each from 1 to 5, with quotes and fixes: 1. Five-second test: who is it for and what does it do, based on the first screen only. 2. Specificity: concrete outcomes and numbers versus vague promises. 3. Differentiation: swap the competitor's name into my text. Would it still make sense? (If yes, score low.) 4. Proof: claims backed by evidence, examples, or customers. 5. Customer language: does it sound like how customers describe their problem? 6. Benefit versus feature balance. 7. Clear next step. 8. Consistency across pages. Show a score table and list the five phrases to cut (buzzwords, empty superlatives), and the three claims that need proof. Then write three alternative headline and subheadline pairs: one outcome-focused, one problem-focused, and one differentiation-focused. Use only facts from my materials and mark any gap as [ADD PROOF].

Five-second test: score 2. First screen says "Innovative solutions for modern businesses"; unclear who it is for. Specificity 2: "boost productivity" with no figure. Differentiation 1: replacing our name with a competitor's name leaves the text unchanged. Proof 2: one logo strip, no results. Customer language 3. Benefit/feature balance 3. Next step 4. Consistency 2. Phrases to cut: "innovative", "best-in-class", "end-to-end". Claims needing proof: "saves 30% of time" [ADD PROOF]. Alternatives Outcome: "Cut weekly reporting from 6 hours to 30 minutes." Problem: "Still building reports by hand every Monday?" Differentiation: "The only reporting tool built for 5-person finance teams."
