Analyse margins. Revenue and direct cost by product and by customer code: [MARGIN_DATA]. Overheads allocated, if any: [OVERHEADS].

Calculate margin as profit divided by revenue for each line, rank products and customers, find loss-makers and the share of profit from the top five. Test sensitivity: what if costs rise by 5 percent?

Return a table with arithmetic, three actions such as repricing or dropping, and a caution about allocation choices.

Add a worked table: product A revenue 50,000, cost 30,000, margin 40 percent; product B revenue 30,000, cost 27,000, margin 10 percent; customer Z buys mostly B. If costs rise by 5 percent, A's margin becomes (50,000 - 31,500) divided by 50,000 = 37 percent and B's becomes (30,000 - 28,350) divided by 30,000 = 5.5 percent. Warn that allocation of overheads can change the picture.

Add a short worked decision: if product B has a 5.5 percent margin after the cost rise and customer Z buys mostly B, compare repricing by 8 percent, bundling with A, or dropping B, and calculate the effect on total profit for each option with my figures.

Invented. Product A revenue 50,000, cost 30,000, margin 20,000 = 40 percent. Product B revenue 30,000, cost 27,000, margin 3,000 = 10 percent.
If costs rise 5 percent: A cost 31,500, margin 18,500 / 50,000 = 37 percent. B cost 28,350, margin 1,650 / 30,000 = 5.5 percent.
Customer Z buys mostly B.
Options: reprice B by 8 percent; bundle with A; drop B. Check allocation of overheads before deciding.
Decision date: review in the next pricing meeting with updated cost figures.
