[VERIFY] is an editorial flag, not a blank to fill. Wherever the prompt shows [VERIFY], check that item against a reliable source before you use it.
Check the internal consistency of the financial section of a business plan. Paste the summary tables and assumptions: [FINANCIAL_SECTION]. The narrative sections that mention numbers: [NARRATIVE_NUMBERS]. Start-up costs and funding: [STARTUP_FUNDING]. Cross-check revenue, cost, profit, cash and headcount between the narrative and the tables, test whether start-up costs equal the funding sources, whether assumptions in text are used in the model, and whether growth rates are consistent with the market and capacity sections. Show the arithmetic for any mismatch. Return a reconciliation table with Item, Narrative, Table, Difference and Likely cause, a score from 1 to 10 for consistency, and a fix list in order. This is education; have an accountant review final figures [VERIFY]. Also list the three numbers in the plan that a reader is most likely to test first and show how each was derived. Then prepare a reviewer pack that makes the plan easy to check. Create a single table listing every number that appears in more than one place, with each location, the value and a tick for agreement. Add a list of the assumptions in a standard layout with source, date and sensitivity. Build a three-scenario summary of revenue, profit and cash for years one to three using only inputs I give, and note which assumptions differ. Write a short methodology note that explains how the projections were prepared and what they exclude, in plain language. Suggest a review by an accountant or mentor, with a list of five questions to ask them. Remind me that projections are estimates, that lenders and investors will form their own views, and that tax, funding and legal matters are for qualified professionals [VERIFY] for [JURISDICTION]. Separate arithmetic errors, judgement calls and policy questions into three lists. Keep language factual, tag regulatory points [VERIFY] for [JURISDICTION], and leave final decisions to me and my adviser.
