Reply to a Meeting or Speaking Invitation
Respond to invitations with clear conditions.
The Open buttons send the prompt text as currently shown below to that site only when you click. Fill in the placeholders first.
Write replies to an invitation. The invitation: [PASTE_INVITATION]. Whether I want to accept, decline, or negotiate: [MY_DECISION]. My conditions (date, fee, format, travel, topic changes, time): [MY_CONDITIONS]. Audience and organizer details: [ORGANIZER_DETAILS]. Return a table with replies for each situation: Situation | Reply | Notes. Situations: accept with confirmation of details; accept with conditions (fee, expenses, schedule); ask clarifying questions before deciding (audience size, format, recording, audience, speaker line-up, technical needs); decline politely and recommend another speaker; propose a different date or a shorter format; decline because the fee is too low and offer a range or alternative; accept a virtual rather than in-person appearance. Each reply 60 to 130 words. Include a checklist of the questions to ask before accepting an invitation (who, what, when, where, how long, audience, purpose, fee and costs, recording and use of materials, promotion, accessibility requirements), and a short confirmation email to send after agreement summarizing the details. Don't invent facts about the organizer. Mark any term that needs a written agreement; for paid engagements, suggest a simple contract.
