Currency formulas: amount x rate with the correct direction (explain the inverse rate and avoid mistakes), conversion through a base currency for any pair, historical rates by transaction date (lookup of the latest rate on or before the date), and rounding rules (round at the end, not at each step). 3. Live-rate functions where available (for example the finance data function in Google Sheets), their delays, and why to freeze rates for finished reports. 4. Unit conversions: CONVERT function, or a unit table for custom units; examples for weight, length, and temperature (temperature needs offset formulas). 5. Display formats: number formats showing currency symbols without changing values. 6. Checks: total before and after conversion, flag missing rates, and test cases. Remind me to record which rate and date were used in any report. For financial or tax reporting, use the rates required by the applicable rules in [JURISDICTION].
