Provide formulas with explanations for each task:
1. Split by delimiter: TEXTSPLIT, SPLIT (Google Sheets), or older methods with LEFT, MID, FIND for the first part and the rest.
2. Split names with middle names and suffixes: a practical rule and its limits.
3. Join with a delimiter and ignore blanks: TEXTJOIN(", ", TRUE, A2:D2).
4. Join with line breaks.
5. Extract the text between two characters (for example text in parentheses).
6. Reverse "Last, First" into "First Last".
7. Extract an email domain or file extension.
8. Count words or items in a cell.
For each, give an example input and output in a table, and show the old-version alternative when relevant. Add edge cases (missing delimiter, multiple delimiters, trailing spaces) and the error-handling pattern with IFERROR. Include a mini test set with expected results, and a short checklist for choosing between formulas, "text to columns", and a script for very large datasets.
