Table output

Review your amortization spreadsheet for formula mistakes, rounding drift and rate errors, with a findings table and corrected formulas.

The Open buttons send the prompt text as currently shown below to that site only when you click. Fill in the placeholders first.

[VERIFY] is an editorial flag, not a blank to fill. Wherever the prompt shows [VERIFY], check that item against a reliable source before you use it.

Please audit the loan amortization spreadsheet I built. Inputs I used: loan [LOAN_AMOUNT], rate [ANNUAL_RATE], term [TERM], payments per year [PAYMENTS_PER_YEAR]. The formulas from the first three rows and the last row: [FORMULA_ROWS]. The values those cells show: [VALUES_SHOWN]. The lender's statement figures to compare against, if I have them: [LENDER_FIGURES].

Check and report:

1. Whether the periodic rate is calculated correctly (annual rate divided by payments per year).

2. Whether the payment formula matches the term and period count.

3. Whether interest is calculated on the opening balance each period and principal equals payment minus interest.

4. Whether the closing balance flows to the next opening balance with no hard-coded numbers.

5. Whether the final balance reaches zero and how much rounding drift remains.

6. Differences from the lender's figures and plausible reasons (day-count conventions, payment timing, fees), marked [VERIFY] with the lender.

Output a findings table with columns Check, Result (pass, fail, cannot tell), Evidence, Severity, Corrected formula. Show the arithmetic you used to recalculate row 1. Do not change or rebuild my sheet; list fixes only. If you cannot verify something from what I pasted, say so. This is spreadsheet review, not financial or lending advice.
