Privileged Access Review
Check admin rights and shrink them.
The Open buttons send the prompt text as currently shown below to that site only when you click. Fill in the placeholders first.
Review privileged access. List of admin accounts and their holders: [ADMIN_LIST]. Systems: [SYSTEMS]. Reasons access was granted: [REASONS]. For each account ask whether it is needed, whether it can be limited in scope or time, whether it uses multi-factor authentication, and whether it is used for daily work. Recommend separate admin accounts, break-glass accounts with monitoring, and expiry dates. Return a table with Account, Need, Risk and Action, a plan to reduce admin accounts by a target percentage with arithmetic, and a review schedule. This is a defensive review of systems I administer. Add a worked review with invented rows: Account A, a former contractor, no longer needed, remove; Account B, an engineer, uses it weekly, limit to a time-bound role; Account C, shared admin account without multi-factor authentication, replace with named accounts. Calculate the percentage reduction if 12 of 30 admin accounts are removed or downgraded: 12 divided by 30 equals 40 percent. Add a policy for break-glass accounts: sealed credentials, an alert when used and a post-use review.
