Escalation Message Writer
Escalate clearly and constructively.
The Open buttons send the prompt text as currently shown below to that site only when you click. Fill in the placeholders first.
Write an escalation message. Issue and impact: [ISSUE_IMPACT]. What has been tried: [TRIED]. Who I'm escalating to and their position: [RECIPIENT]. What I need and by when: [REQUEST_DEADLINE]. Draft three versions: an email, a short chat message, and a talking script for a call. Each should state the problem in one sentence, the impact in numbers or dates, the options with a recommendation, the decision needed, and the deadline. Keep a neutral, respectful tone with no blame. Provide a checklist to verify before sending: facts checked, relevant people informed, and alternatives considered. Add a follow-up message template. Add a list of phrases to avoid in escalation messages because they sound accusatory and neutral alternatives, and a decision guide on whether to escalate now or try one more time. Provide a pre-escalation conversation script for talking to the person involved first, and a note on recording the escalation in the issue log.

Email Subject: Decision needed by Friday - supplier delay on dashboard data Hi Priya, The vendor's data feed is 5 days late, which puts the 12 May launch at risk. We have chased twice (29 Apr, 3 May). Options: (1) wait to 9 May (launch 19 May); (2) launch with last week's data (accuracy risk); (3) fund a manual export (2 days, cost to confirm). I recommend option 3. I need your decision by Friday 5 pm. Thanks, Sam Chat: "Priya, vendor feed late; need your call on options by Friday, summary in your inbox." Follow-up: "Checking you saw my note..."
