Prepare an alignment conversation with a project sponsor. Project: [PROJECT]. What I think they expect: [ASSUMED_EXPECTATIONS]. Where I see risk of misunderstanding: [MISUNDERSTANDING_RISKS].

Create:
1. Twelve questions to surface expectations, for example: What does success look like in numbers? What would disappoint you? If time, cost, and scope conflict, which gives first? How often do you want updates, and in what form? Who else must approve?
2. A one-page working-agreement summary to review together: goals, scope, priorities, decision rights, reporting, escalation.
3. An opening script of about 50 words.
4. Techniques for tricky moments: the sponsor wants everything ("Which of these would you drop if we had to?"), changes their mind, or is absent.
5. A closing step: read back a three-line summary of what success means, the top priority if trade-offs arise, and how often updates come, and ask the sponsor to confirm or correct each line.
6. A follow-up email of about 100 words confirming what was agreed, and a calendar of check-ins.
