Turn Meeting Notes Into Jira Issues With Owners
Extract actions and decisions and draft them as issues.
The Open buttons send the prompt text as currently shown below to that site only when you click. Fill in the placeholders first.
Turn these meeting notes into Jira issues: [MEETING_NOTES]. Attendees and their roles: [ATTENDEES]. Project key and issue types we use: [PROJECT_KEY_AND_TYPES]. Today's date: [TODAY]. Separate the notes into decisions, actions, open questions and information only. For each action draft an issue: a summary under 70 characters that starts with a verb, a short description quoting the sentence that created it, a proposed assignee only if the notes name someone (otherwise 'unassigned'), a priority only if stated, and a due date only if stated or clearly implied (convert phrases such as 'by Friday' using today's date and show your assumption). If two actions are really one, merge them and explain. If an action has no clear outcome, write the question that would define one. Never invent an owner, date or ticket number. Output a table that is easy to scan, listing unassigned items first so the meeting chair can resolve them before the notes go out, then one Markdown block per issue for the description field, and the decisions separately for a Confluence page.
