Adobe Illustrator Logo Package and Usage Sheet
Prepare logo files and rules for use.
The Open buttons send the prompt text as currently shown below to that site only when you click. Fill in the placeholders first.
[VERIFY] is an editorial flag, not a blank to fill. Wherever the prompt shows [VERIFY], check that item against a reliable source before you use it.
Prepare a logo package from Illustrator for use by others. Logo versions and where each is used: [LOGO_VERSIONS_AND_USE]. Colour specifications: [COLOUR_SPECS]. Formats needed: [FORMATS]. List the files to export in a table with Name pattern, Format, Colour mode, Background and Use: vector and raster, light and dark, with and without tagline, icon only. Propose a naming convention such as brand_logo_horizontal_colour_rgb.svg and explain each part. Write a one-page usage sheet: purpose, clear space, minimum sizes in pixels and millimetres that I will confirm, correct colour combinations, colour values in each colour system, and five misuse examples in words, such as stretching or recolouring the logo. Add testing steps: place each file on light, dark and busy backgrounds, shrink to the minimum size, and print in black and white. Keep master files in one place, and mention that trademark and ownership questions go to a qualified person [VERIFY]. Finish with a short delivery message that explains which file to use for what.
